About The Position

American Driver offers a fully paid, structured road training program for new Class A license holders, skipping simulators and classrooms to provide direct experience with real freight and professional mentors. The program ensures your paycheck is protected from the first week on the road during your transition to a solo driver. The role involves running regional routes for 4 to 6 weeks with a certified driver trainer, mastering heavy tractor-trailer operation, ELD management, HOS regulations, DVIR inspections, and professional dispatch communication. Upon demonstrating readiness, drivers transition to solo status.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, active Class A CDL.
• Be 21 years or older.
• Possess a graduation certificate showing 120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL school.
• Have a clean driving history with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass a standard DOT physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a fully paid, structured road training program with a mentor.
