About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class A Truck Driver to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This is a full-time position requiring a Class A CDL for pick up and delivery duties. Responsibilities include moving trailers, customer deliveries, processing freight, and pulling routes. The role involves 100% touch freight and requires availability for weekend work when needed. The anticipated starting salary is $29.50 per hour, with potential adjustments based on market conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekend availability and overtime as required. The shift is from 2pm to 10:30pm.

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver’s license
• DOT MEDICAL Required
• Clean driving record
• No speeding 15 over
• No DUI or criminal history
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A experience
• Must complete full application process
• Must pass road test
• You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Must be available to work weekends when needed

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Tractor Trailer
• Load and unload freight using liftgate and pallet jack when needed
• Touching freight is required 100% of time
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries
• Deliver to commercial and residential locations
• Average 15–20 stops per day
• Approximately 250 miles driven daily
• Routes throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada
• Some Installations may be required
• Moving trailers from the yard to the dock or visa versa
• Picking up and delivering to customers, Forward Air and Airport
• Processing freight
• Pulling routes and other duties as needed
