About The Position

The Driver is responsible for operating small, medium, or heavy-duty trucks—including vehicles with trailers—for routine deliveries and pickups. A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required for this role. This position requires clear, courteous communication and a consistently professional demeanor. Drivers are expected to maintain punctuality, a neat appearance, and a positive attitude at all times. Attendance at company and location-based meetings is also required. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all required certifications, including CDL and machinery/equipment qualifications.
  • Communicate effectively with sales representatives and yard personnel.
  • Verify order accuracy before departure and upon delivery to customers.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both field and walk-in customers.
  • Operate company vehicles safely, responsibly, and in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure truck readiness before use.
  • Assist with order preparation for the next day upon returning from deliveries.
  • Make pre-arranged contact with job site personnel when required.
  • Consistently fulfill delivery commitments and maintain delivery schedules.
  • Serve as a liaison between field customers and internal sales teams.
  • Maintain clean equipment and contribute to a positive company image.
  • Treat all colleagues with respect and professionalism.
  • Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and resources.
  • Accurately complete delivery and pickup documentation.
  • Record relevant data, including mileage and fuel usage.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly.
  • Support additional yard or warehouse tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
