This role involves diagnosing malfunctions, completing repairs safely, and ensuring the quality of work through road-testing. The technician is responsible for accurately documenting time spent on repairs, work performed, and test procedures. They must maintain an inventory of personal tools, use shop supplies economically, and keep a clean and organized workspace. Additionally, the technician is expected to complete all required training, acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications, and stay updated with technical bulletins. Effective communication with dealership personnel and reporting of safety concerns are crucial. The role also requires adherence to personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards, as well as punctuality.
