About The Position

Class A Semi-Local Drivers are needed for a dedicated customer account. This role involves hauling preloaded trailers and ensuring drivers get at least 34 hours at home each week. The work includes a combination of shuttles, full loads, and deliveries from shuttle points in Whitestown, IN, or Demotte, IN. Drivers will haul meat but not alcohol. A driver is planned on a full 14-hour drive shift, leaving the DC during the night and making deliveries starting in the morning. All loads are pre-loaded on tri-temp/dual temp reefers. Most stores are store unload with the driver observing the unload, but inner-city stores will require the use of a lift gate and pallet jacks. All loads start and finish at the West Jefferson, OH facility, with deliveries to downtown Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.

Requirements

• 3 months of Class A experience with a 53-foot trailer.
• Clean MVR.
• Clean background.
• No SAP drivers.
• Must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test.

Responsibilities
