About The Position

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking a Class A Route Delivery Driver with a strong commitment to customer service and safety. This role involves operating a company motor vehicle to transport freight efficiently and safely to designated locations within specified times. Responsibilities include unloading, sorting, palletizing, and reloading various types of freight, both manually and with mechanical assistance. The driver will also be responsible for completing all required paperwork in compliance with government regulations and company policies. The shift is Monday-Friday with a start time between 7-8 AM, and the pay rate is $32/hour.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
At least 21 years of age
1 year of commercial driving experience
No DUI’s or DWI’s in the past 3 years
No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain them (renewals reimbursable)
Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable
Must have a passion for customer service
Must have a safety-first mindset
Must successfully complete a pre-employment skills assessment

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the immediate supervisor.
Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point.
Load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight.
Operate a Company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time.
Unload, sort, palletize, and reload a wide variety of freight, manually or with the aid of a mechanical device.
Complete all paperwork required by government regulations and Company procedures/policies.
