Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• minimum of 1 year as QA-Auditor
• proven track record in cosmetic, functional testing and dimensional inspections
• GD& T
• Weld Standards
• Manufacturing Practices
• SPC
• Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools including tape measures, scales, Vernier calipers, etc.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Express
• Quality auditing experience in the automotive manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 5 years Quality Training
• TS16949 Internal Auditor experience
• Six Sigma
• Emergency Response Training Awareness

Nice To Haves

• Metal Finish experience a plus
• PDCA/8D/5 why knowledge a plus

• Able to “feel” for surface defects
• Metal finish experience
• Confidence to make decision on findings and support decision with evidence
• Understand thinning analysis reports
• Good written communication skills

• Knowledge of stamping process
• Ability to travel for training and work
• Understand Customer standards
• Able to predict effect of defect after paint
