About The Position

Founded in 2009, Intonu is a metals recycling company located on the west side of Atlanta which has grown to be one of the leading recyclers in the Southeastern United States. We are currently seeking a CLASS A LOCAL DRIVER to join our growing team. We participate in E Verify. PPE required, All DOT requirements

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Minimum of 2 years driving tractor trailer.
• Heavy hauling experience
• Clean MVR, PSP and Clearinghouse

Responsibilities

• Accepts dispatch and safely drives loads to accomplish deliveries.
• Class A CDL driver.
• Abide by all state and local DOT commercial driver regulations.
• Abide by all instructions outlined in truck and trailer operation manuals.
• Perform visual pre trip and post trip inspections as described by approved dot checklists on trucks and related trailers.
• Follow all procedures specific to Intonu transportation department.
• Must be on time to work.
• Courteous to customer.
• Ensure all safety measures are taken while at the company site, customers site and on the road
• Must be able to operate electronic devices, text, email, ELD, DVIRS all electronically using CyntrX
• Other job duties as assigned
