About The Position

Jusczak Trucking is seeking an experienced Class A Driver for a dedicated lane OTR (Over-the-Road) position for an initial period of 3-4 months, after which the role will transition to a local position. The driver will operate a sleeper truck on a consistent route between the Twin Cities, MN and Louisiana, completing 2 or more trips per week. The pay is $500 per day, equating to $1,500 per trip. The driver will also be responsible for other duties as assigned by the dispatch department, which may include local or OTR work. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with a Manual Transmission endorsement.
Clean Driving Record: No major violations (DUIs, reckless driving, etc.) within the last 3 years.
Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and maintain a valid DOT medical card registered with the state.
At least 5 years of Class A driving experience (or equivalent training) preferred.
No major traffic violations in the past 3-5 years (speeding tickets, reckless driving, etc.).
Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing in accordance with DOT regulations.
Ability to lift, load, and secure freight, and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed up to 100lbs.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Strong Communication Skills.
Moderate Technology Skills: Ability to use proprietary dispatching software.
Supply, use, and maintain a good working smart phone with ability to download and use and be compatible with all company software.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Commitment to safety standards and regulations.
Reliable and Punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to properly complete and maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with hauling flatbed, step deck, RGN, van, Conestoga, or over-dimensional freight is a plus.

Responsibilities
