About The Position

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies is seeking a Class A CDL Vacation Relief Driver in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves covering current drivers on vacation or sick days, with potential for M-F routes starting at 6 am and the possibility of overnight layovers. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with 1+ year of experience
• Ability to pass FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
• Strong driving record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Flexibility with scheduling
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Deliver pet food and supplies using 40–48 ft. tractor/trailers equipped with rail gates and electric pallet jacks/2-wheel dollies
• Safely move and stage trailers in/out of bay doors
• Transport equipment to vendors and repair facilities
• Deliver vendor-supplied products
• Complete daily logs and required documentation
• Protect company equipment and maintain required certifications
• Contribute to a strong, safety-first culture
