Class A Driver
About The Position
Reddy Ice is a leading brand in ice production and manufacturing, known for consistency, quality, and service. This full-time, permanent position involves delivering ice to customers using articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers), requiring a CDL Class A license. Drivers will be assigned delivery routes or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and equipment may change based on business needs. Reddy Ice manufactures and distributes approximately 1.8 million tons of ice annually, maintaining high standards for product quality and service levels for its diverse customer base.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a current/valid class A CDL license
- Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required
Nice To Haves
- Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers)
- Unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers / iceboxes
- Frequently drive between retail stores and plant location
