About The Position
This position offers a Class A Driver role with a Southwest Home Weekly Lane. SAP Drivers are welcome if they have completed step 6. The routes are regional, covering the southwestern states. Drivers can expect to be home weekly for a reset, typically being out for 5 to 5.5 days and receiving a 34-48 hour reset at home. The freight is Dry Van, with 70% drop and hook and some live load/unload, and is 100% no-touch freight. Drivers are allowed to take the truck home on home time. Newer equipment from KW, Freightliner, and International is utilized.
Requirements
- 6 months of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Some driving experience within the last 90 days.
- SAP Drivers must have completed step 6.
Nice To Haves
- DUI and felony history reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities
- Drive a tractor-trailer on regional routes in the southwestern states.
- Pick up and deliver Dry Van freight.
- Manage drop and hook (70%) and some live load/unload situations.
- Ensure 100% no-touch freight delivery.
- Take the truck home during home time.
