About The Position
Aaction Rents is a locally owned and operated equipment rental company proudly serving Northern California for over 50 years. With six locations across Sonoma, Solano, and Mendocino Counties, we provide equipment rentals for contractors, homeowners, industrial projects, special events, and everything in between. From heavy construction equipment to hand tools, our team works hard to deliver reliable equipment and exceptional customer service every day. We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Driver – Class A to join our transportation team. This position plays a critical role in safely delivering equipment to customer job sites while representing Aaction Rents in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Requirements
- Valid California Class A Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience
- Strong understanding of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier regulations
- Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain and active job sites
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up rental equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload equipment at customer locations and job sites
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic upkeep
- Communicate effectively with stores, dispatch, and customers
- Prioritize safety at all times
- Provide excellent customer service on every delivery
