Requirements
- Thorough understanding of commercial driver’s laws (weights, endorsements, hours of service, etc.).
- Basic understanding of mathematics as related to weights.
- Travel is required (OTR).
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of road maintenance experience
Responsibilities
- Responsible for pre/post trip inspections, making sure truck is clean, lubrication is current, and brake adjustments made.
- Responsible for transporting materials and equipment to job sites.
- Ensure adequate fuel levels in truck(s)/ equipment.
- Maintain driver e-logs as required by law.
- Communicate over 2-way radios.
- Work on the construction crew as needed while on job sites.
- Maintain job site and equipment to the highest possible standards to maintain a professional image.
- Follow all PPE, safety and company rules are followed.
- Other duties as assigned.
