Class A Driver- No Weekends!
About The Position
Phillips Pet Food & Supplies in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver. This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, starting pay up to $26.00/hour, and opportunities for safety bonuses. Drivers can expect routine routes and schedules, with occasional overnight layovers (1-2 per week) for select routes, for which hotel and per diem are provided. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with 2+ years of experience
- Strong, clean driving record and can pass a Clearinghouse
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed and available for overnight layovers
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Move and stage trailers in/out of bay doors
- Shuttle trailers between company warehouses
- Transport equipment to vendors and repair shops
- Pick up vendor-supplied products
- Support jockey operations as needed
- Make occasional large customer deliveries
- Complete all assigned work safely and on schedule
- Maintain accurate DOT and company logs
- Protect company property and operate with safety first
