About The Position
Universal Logistics is seeking Class A CDL Drivers for immediate career opportunities. They are a leading provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions, offering a comprehensive suite of services including transportation, value-added, intermodal, and specialized services utilized throughout entire supply chains. This role involves local collection routes picking up car parts for Ford automotive production on multiple stop routes within a 250-mile radius, covering Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan. Requirements
- CDL Class A License required.
- Must have a Class A CDL and 120 hours completed at a driving institution for the training program.
- No experience required for the training program, but a CDL Class A is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Local collection routes picking up car parts for Ford automotive production.
- Operate on multiple stop routes within the region: Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan.
- Drive within a 250-mile radius.
- Work a 5-day work week, with Saturday work available.
- Adhere to typical start times between 0400-0700 for hourly positions.
- Work any of the 3 shifts available for company drivers, with a focus on 2nd shift.

- Hourly Driver Pay: $27.00/hour with $0.50 raise every year for the first 3 years.
- Company Driver Pay: $0.54/mile 1st year, $0.55/mile 2nd year, $0.56/mile 3rd year.
- Additional hourly rate of $23.00/hr for detention, wait times, shuttles.
