About The Position

This position delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL class A license. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs. This is a full-time, permanent position with Reddy Ice that includes a competitive hourly wage, a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company-matching 401(k) plan. Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have a current/valid class A CDL license.
Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards.
A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required.

Nice To Haves

Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience.

Responsibilities

Unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers / iceboxes.
Drive in stressful environments.
Frequently drive between retail stores and plant location.
