About The Position

Reddy Ice is a leading brand in ice production and manufacturing, known for consistency, quality, and service. This full-time, permanent Class A Driver position involves delivering ice to customers using articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL class A license. Drivers are assigned delivery routes or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated are subject to change based on business needs. Reddy Ice manufactures and distributes approximately 1.8 million tons of ice annually to a broad and diversified customer base, maintaining the industry’s highest standards for quality and service.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a current/valid class A CDL license
• Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required

Nice To Haves

• Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL class A license
• Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes
