About The Position

This position is for a CDL Class A Yard/Shuttle Driver at the Tolleson Terminal, working the PM shift. The shift is from 6pm to 6am on a rotational schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, and will include weekends, evenings, and holidays. Drivers will operate a yard goat, connect and disconnect trailers continuously, and operate various tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods or long distances between company/customer facilities, terminals, yards, or work sites. Responsibilities include picking up, transporting, and delivering freight safely, timely, and efficiently, as well as dropping, hooking, spotting, or interchanging equipment for loading or unloading under varied conditions on a continuous basis.

Requirements

18 months driving experience with a tractor/trailer
Must be at least 23 years of age
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
No major convictions in the past 5 years (DUI, Reckless, Suspensions, etc.)
Must be able to operate tractors with manual transmission
Have a valid Class A Driver License

Nice To Haves

Yard Spotting experience preferred
Yard Goat experience preferred
