About The Position
We are hiring a dedicated solo Class A CDL driver for a major retail yard operation in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers pure hourly pay, overtime, and guaranteed daily home time, allowing you to sleep in your own bed after every shift. The core responsibilities include active yard hostling/spotting (moving trailers around the retail distribution yard) and local shuttling. Freight handling is 100% no-touch cargo, as store/warehouse staff handles all freight inside trailers. The work environment is active and physically demanding, requiring continuous work outdoors in various weather elements.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card
- Reside within 50 miles of Phoenix, AZ (Zip Code: 85043)
- Verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer or yard hostling experience required
- Clean driving record
- Solid work history
- Mandatory pre-employment drug screening
