About The Position

Balanced Body is hiring!! We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Class A Driver to join our team. All driving is local within 10 mile radius in Sacramento and will be Monday to Friday, day shift only. Overtime is available. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager on a wide range of activities. This position will not be 100% driving as it will support the Warehouse department. Additional duties include supporting our domestic and international shipping. To be successful in the position, you will be able to meet deadlines, demonstrate great attention to detail and consistency in following process, and work well individually and in a team environment. The individual we are seeking will be an excellent communicator and be process oriented. You should be comfortable working in a fluid environment where priorities may shift.

Requirements

• Must have current Class A drivers license
• 2+ year of Class A driving experience
• 2+ year of commercial driving experience
• Lift gate and forklift experience required
• Must be able to provide an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (no accidents, DUI’s, cell phone tickets, reckless driving tickets, etc. in the past 3 years)
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical test
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds
• Exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-directed with the ability to keep up with a very fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent time-management and ability to prioritize changing tasks with a sense of urgency necessary to meet objectives and deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Box truck experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and successful completion of pick-up and delivery
• Must be able to load and unload materials on truck via forklift and pallet jack
• Ensure materials have appropriate paperwork
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection report
• Demonstrate proper safe driving habits
• Perform other duties as required to meet company needs
• Pull product against orders, assemble and pack for delivery
• Reviewing incoming and outgoing shipments and update stock records
