About The Position

American Driver is seeking new CDL holders to join their Midwest regional freight team. This role offers a paid training program for individuals who have completed training at an accredited school and possess a valid Class A CDL. The position involves driving dry van freight, with opportunities for drop and hook on approximately 60% of runs. Drivers can expect consistent weekly mileage and home time available weekly or bi-weekly.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• At least 120 hours of instruction from an accredited CDL school.
• No major violations within the last 3 years.
• No DUI within the last 5 years.
• Must clear pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive Midwest regional freight.
• Operate a dry van, with no touching of the load.
• Perform drop and hook on approximately 60% of runs.
• Complete structured mentorship with a veteran driver for 4 to 6 weeks.
• Learn and utilize ELD systems, hours of service, and vehicle inspection procedures.
• Maintain consistent weekly mileage of 2,200 to 2,600 miles.
