About The Position

Jusczak Trucking, a family-owned and industry-leading trucking company since 1974, is seeking an experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) driver for a dedicated lane. This position involves a consistent route from Monroe, Louisiana to Indianapolis, Indiana, and back, with the expectation of completing two or more trips per week. Drivers will earn a flat rate of $1,000 per trip. This is an OTR position requiring the use of a sleeper truck for extended travel. Additional duties may be assigned by the dispatch department, including local or OTR work.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with a Manual Transmission endorsement.
Clean Driving Record: No major violations (DUIs, reckless driving, etc.) within the last 3 years.
Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and maintain a valid DOT medical card registered with the state.
At least 5 years of Class A driving experience (or equivalent training) preferred.
No major traffic violations in the past 3-5 years (speeding tickets, reckless driving, etc.).
Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing in accordance with DOT regulations.
Moderate Technology Skills: Ability to use proprietary dispatching software.
Supply, use, and maintain a good working smart phone with the ability to download and use company software.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Willingness to work flexible hours and abide by dispatch information.
Commitment to safety standards and regulations.
Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and dependability.
Ability to properly complete and maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with hauling flatbed, step deck, RGN, van, Conestoga, or over-dimensional freight.

Responsibilities

Drive a dedicated route from Monroe, Louisiana to Indianapolis, Indiana and back.

Lift, load, and secure freight.
Perform other physically demanding tasks as needed up to 100lbs.

Work flexible hours and abide by dispatch information.
Adhere to safety standards and regulations while on the road.
Maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
