About The Position

Jusczak Trucking, a family-owned and industry-leading trucking company established in 1974, is seeking an experienced local Class A driver to join their team in Forest Lake, MN. This position involves local routes with a maximum radius of 200 miles from their various locations. The company emphasizes quality service, safety, and innovation.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a manual transmission endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no major violations (DUIs, reckless driving) in the last 3 years.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and maintain a valid DOT medical card registered with the state.
• At least 5 years of Class A driving experience (or equivalent training) preferred.
• No major traffic violations in the past 3-5 years (speeding tickets, reckless driving, etc.).
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Ability to lift, load, and secure freight up to 100lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong communication skills.
• Moderate technology skills for company dispatching software.
• Must supply, use, and maintain a compatible smartphone.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulations.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and dependability.
• Ability to properly complete and maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hauling flatbed, step deck, RGN, van, Conestoga, or over-dimensional freight.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle.
• Transport freight within a 200-mile radius of company locations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Use proprietary dispatching software for dispatches and communication.
• Maintain a working smartphone compatible with company software.
• Complete and maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
• Lift, load, and secure freight, performing other physically demanding tasks as needed (up to 100lbs).
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations while on the road.
• Work flexible hours and abide by dispatch information.
