About The Position

Charlie's Produce is seeking a Class A Driver - Hostler to join their team. This role is primarily responsible for moving trailers around their warehouses in SODO and communicating with supervisors and staff via radio. Requirements

• 23+ years or older, due to insurance requirements
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card
• Interstate qualification, registered
• Demonstrated ability to lift/ push/ pull 50+lbs. throughout the shift
• Ability to read and understand English per DOT rules
• Satisfactory driving record
• Must be open to working Saturdays and possibly Sundays
• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen (includes THC)
• Pass a company road test

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely maneuver trucks around Seattle warehouses using an Ottawa yard truck
• Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively using radios
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Promote & maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented attitude with co-workers
• All other duties as requested or assigned
