About The Position
Taylor Metal Products is a leading manufacturer of high-end steel roofing and siding products. We are looking for qualified, motivated, high-energy drivers for an hourly, with overtime, position with weekends off. We have been in business for over 20 years and continue to grow each year. We always hold true to our motto, “Quality Products, Exceptional Service.” A hardworking individual that wants to be a part of a small and personable team will thrive in this fast-paced delivery position. The routes are excellent for the individual that enjoys a challenge as we deliver to local jobsites on a daily basis. This role allows for personal interaction with employees from other companies, exposure to unique jobsites, and a physical aspect to the work.
Requirements
- Class A CDL needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening for safety-sensitive positions.
- Must be a hardworking individual.
- Must be motivated and high-energy.
- Must be able to be personal with employees from other companies.
- Must be able to handle a physical aspect to the work.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Volvo, Kenworth, and Freightliner day cabs.
- Experience with 36’ to 53’ flatbeds with a piggyback forklift.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class A CDL vehicles.
- Deliver steel roofing and siding products to local jobsites.
- Occasionally undertake long hauls, with 1 or more overnight runs weekly.
- Ensure safe and timely deliveries.
- Handle flatbed trailers with piggyback forklifts.
