About The Position

Charlie's Produce is a privately owned wholesale produce company and the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help us enhance communities through quality produce. The Delivery Driver will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, averaging 10-15 stops per route. This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed, with start times varying between 1:30 am and 3:30 am.

Requirements

Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements.
1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
Valid Class A CDL and medical card Interstate qualification, registered.
Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift.
Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English.
Previous Delivery Driver Experience - food and beverage experience preferred!
Satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities

Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
Deliver palletized product to customers with a hand truck.
Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues.
All other duties as requested or assigned.
