About The Position

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking a Class A CDL Driver with a passion for customer service and a safety-first mindset to join the Liquor Division. This position will perform dock operations and trailer shuttling at the State Liquor Warehouse 75% of the time and serve as a relief driver 25% of the time. The driver will operate a forklift, load full pallets onto an automated shrink wrap machine and load trailers. They will also move trailers between the liquor warehouse and terminal yard, account for store orders by verifying pallets, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. The role involves delivering product to State liquor stores across Montana according to the delivery schedule in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. The driver ensures all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment. They will load and/or unload a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in the past 3 years)
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Loads and/or unloads a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, at customer locations and at the terminal, with or without mechanical assistance depending on the size of freight
