About The Position

This dedicated driver position involves short miles and hands-on store deliveries. Drivers will be paid $320 each time they unload, with approximately 3 loads per week. The position offers weekly home time, which is ideal for drivers who prefer to stay active rather than drive long distances. Freight is hand-unloaded using rollers, so drivers who do not want to touch freight should not apply.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have 3 months or more of solo tractor-trailer experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL matching your current state.
• Must have 2 or fewer moving violations and no preventable accidents in the past 3 to 5 years.
• Must have no DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.
• Must not be a SAP driver.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Must live within 50 miles of Knoxville, TN.

• Drivers who prefer staying active and want weekly home time.
• Drivers who would trade long miles for bigger unload checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform store deliveries that are hand-unloaded with rollers.
• Complete approximately 3 loads per week.
• Drive around 1,100 miles per week.
• Complete 3 stops per load.
• Transport no-touch backhauls to the distribution center.
• Take a 34-hour reset at home, either Friday night to Saturday or Saturday night to Sunday.
