About The Position
This dedicated fleet position offers consistent and predictable routes, customer interactions, and weekly or bi-weekly home time. Drivers will deliver no-touch freight, primarily refrigerated loads. The company has round-the-clock office support and a strong, decade-long relationship with its customer. The account is based in Front Royal, VA, with deliveries to the Northeast and Midwest regions, potentially including MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC, OH, IN, and KY. Night driving is required.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
- Ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Deliver no-touch freight, mostly refrigerated.
- Drive automatic sleeper cabs and pull 53’ refrigerated trailers.
- Operate within the Northeast and Midwest regions, potentially in MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC, OH, IN, & KY.
- Adhere to a schedule that ensures drivers are home weekly or at least every other weekend for their 34-hour reset.
- Perform night driving.
- Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
