About The Position

Carpenter Co. is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join their team. This role involves operating and maintaining a company vehicle to deliver finished products to external customers safely, on time, and in compliance with company policies and government regulations within a defined geographic delivery area. The driver will represent Carpenter Co. professionally and provide excellent customer service, including unloading product at customer locations as specified. The company emphasizes a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

Must have a Class A CDL including Manual Transmission Endorsement.
Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Must adhere to all DOT Regulations and practice safe driving techniques.
Must be able to lift carpet cushion rolls weighing 50 to 90 lbs. each.
High School Diploma or GED Required.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a company vehicle to deliver finished products to external customers safely, on time and following company policies and government regulations within a defined geographic delivery area.
Provide excellent service to our customers, representing Carpenter Co. in a positive and professional manner.
Unload product at the customer's location as specified in the delivery order.
Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic DOT logs.
Unload finished product at each destination as required.
Follow all Carpenter Co. rules to include safety regulations, attendance and personal conduct.
