This position is for a Class A CDL Truck Driver Mentor/Driver, focused on training the next generation of drivers while maximizing personal earnings. Mentors are compensated for every mile the truck drives, including both their own miles and their student's miles. The typical schedule involves 11 days Over The Road (OTR) followed by 2 days at home. During the OTR period, students are required to drive at least 5 hours per day, allowing the mentor to utilize the remaining hours of the 14-hour clock to accumulate more miles. It is recommended for mentors to take a week to run solo between training students. The role offers a comprehensive pay structure including a base CPM, additional CPM while training, productivity bonuses, and other mileage and safety bonuses. There are also specific mentor bonuses tied to student performance and completion of safe miles, as well as long-term earnings potential from students' success. Mentor training is provided in Arkansas, including hotel accommodation with free breakfast and provided lunch, and a training completion bonus.
