Class A CDL Trainee
About The Position
This El Paso fleet covers 27 states east of Colorado, excluding the Northeast, and offers paid training for new CDL holders. The position involves routes east of Denver, with options for home time every two weeks. Drivers will handle drop and hook, live loads, and live unloads. New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply, with a training period of 4 to 6 weeks over the road with an experienced trainer. After training, drivers receive guaranteed weekly pay for the first 3 months, followed by full solo driver pay. Additional compensation includes stop pay and a monthly performance bonus.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
- New CDL-A holders with a valid CDL and 120+ hours of accredited CDL training are welcome (no prior experience needed).
- Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
- Military experience considered with a valid DD214.
- Valid license in current state of residence.
- Verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
- No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
- Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
Responsibilities
