We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and hardworking Class A CDL Tanker Route Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate a Class B tanker truck while utilizing your Class A CDL to collect used cooking oil from restaurant customers along established service routes. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a consistent route schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced environment while representing the company professionally at customer locations.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Valid Tanker Endorsement
  • Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment requirements, including drug screening and physical examination
  • Ability to operate pumping and collection equipment safely
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Previous tanker, route delivery, or liquid hauling experience
  • Experience servicing restaurant or commercial accounts
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging systems

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tanker truck to collect used cooking oil from restaurant customers.
  • Service approximately 20–30 customer locations per day according to assigned routes and schedules.
  • Operate pumping equipment to transfer used cooking oil into the tanker truck safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Complete and submit all required route documentation, manifests, logs, and paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers at each service location.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and DOT requirements.
  • Communicate route issues, customer concerns, vehicle maintenance needs, and service updates to management.
  • Keep assigned equipment and vehicle clean and in safe operating condition.
  • Assist with additional routes and operational needs as business demands require.
