About The Position

Denali is seeking a safe, dependable, and customer-focused Class A CDL Tanker Driver to join our team in Goodyear, Arizona. In this role, you'll transport bakery feed to local dairies and feedlots while also picking up incoming products from customers. You'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and DOT compliance. Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must successfully pass: DOT road test, Pre-employment drug screen, Background check
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), such as PeopleNet.
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to maintain route schedules.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English as required by DOT regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must reside within the designated hiring area and be willing to park equipment at an approved location.
  • No DUI or DWI convictions within the past three (3) years.

  • End dump or roll-off experience.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
  • Stable work history.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A tanker vehicles throughout a regional service area.
  • Deliver bakery feed to dairies and feedlots.
  • Pick up products from customer locations.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain electronic driver logs (ELD) and required DOT documentation.
  • Complete contamination reports, service tickets, maintenance records, and other required paperwork accurately.
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of trucks and equipment.
  • Use hand tools for minor equipment and bin repairs when necessary.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, vendors, and operations personnel.
  • Report accidents, injuries, equipment issues, and safety concerns immediately.
  • Attend required safety meetings, training sessions, and company briefings.
  • Utilize basic computer and mobile device applications for communication, training, and expense reporting.
  • Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including up to 60 hours in 7 days or 70 hours in 8 days.
