About The Position

This position is for a Class A CDL Route Delivery Driver who enjoys making connections with and helping local businesses grow. The role utilizes a CDL license, operates on a Monday-Friday route with daily home return, and promotes physical fitness. The route begins in the early morning (around 5 am) and concludes mid to late afternoon, with an average of 48-55 hours per week. Responsibilities include picking up packed trailers, following delivery routes, building loads for customers, attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets, working with customers on product placement, obtaining signatures, and building relationships with repeat customers. Drivers typically work 4 days per week, averaging about 45 hours, with occasional 5-day weeks to cover routes as needed. The company, H&S Enterprises, Inc., works exclusively with Cash-Wa Distributing, a large privately-owned food service distributor in the Midwest, offering growth opportunities.

Requirements

Class A CDL license.
Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs.

Responsibilities

Picking up the packed trailer in the morning.
Following the assigned delivery route.
Building loads to take into the customer's location.
Reading and scanning delivery tickets with attention to detail.
Working with the customer on product placement.
