About The Position

This position starts & ends in Lincoln and offers steady, year-around work with competitive wages. Most positions offer home daily and no scheduled weekends. We have positions that involve touching freight to keep you fit, as well as drop & hook positions, offering a variety of options to fit your preferences. Requirements

• Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Good driving record.
• High school or equivalent education.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs.
• Must be 18 years old (21 years old for positions crossing state lines).

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL trainee positions available.
• Lumper positions available if not interested in getting a CDL.

Responsibilities

• Picking up packed trailers and following a given delivery route.
• Building loads for customers at each stop, requiring attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets.
• Working with customers on product placement.
• Obtaining required signatures.
• Developing relationships with repeat customers.
• Hauling two empty trailers from Lincoln to Kearney, picking up two full trailers, and bringing them back to Lincoln (Lincoln Shuttle).
• Shuttling trailers to other locations (Lincoln Shuttle).
• Driving an empty single trailer to a remote location to pick up product to deliver back to the Lincoln facility (Day Backhaul Route).
• Waiting for trailer loading and return (Day Backhaul Route).
• Driving sleeper cab trucks governed at 70 mph (Regional OTR CDL Drivers).
• Making three or more stops from Lincoln to return (Regional OTR CDL Drivers).
