About The Position

Arcwood is seeking a Class A CDL Regional Driver to join their team. This role involves driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers, prioritizing health and safety, and adhering to all policies and processes. The driver will be responsible for loading supplies, traveling to various sites to perform lab pack services, preparing the vehicle for daily trips, and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The position also requires completing necessary paperwork, following placarding and load segregation requirements, maintaining a DOT compliance logbook, assisting customers with record-keeping issues, and acting as a Company Representative. Additional duties may be assigned to support the team and organization.

Requirements

• Class A CDL driving experience (required)
• Hazmat endorsement (required)
• High-school diploma or equivalent (required)

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.
• Prioritizing health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices.
• Loading supplies needed for job completion and traveling to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services.
• Preparing for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order.
• Driving to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material.
• Completing necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Following proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials.
• Maintaining a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
• Assisting customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns.
• Acting as a Company Representative with all customers and contacts.
• Taking on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
