Class A CDL Owner Operators - Enclosed Auto Transport
About The Position
Intercity Lines is seeking experienced Class A owner operators to transport rare, high-value vehicles nationwide using enclosed auto carriers. Drivers deliver vehicles for collectors, museums, manufacturers, and other automotive customers. The company describes its drivers as trusted professionals and says its staff is available 24/7 to support them. Intercity Lines will work with drivers to accommodate their home-time needs. Owner operators receive 65% of each line haul and operate under the company's authority. Intercity Lines pays for cargo and liability insurance and provides a fuel card with access to its fuel discounts. Drivers work with a dedicated dispatcher and use enclosed car-carrier equipment that is designed, built, serviced, and maintained in-house. Load pay is disclosed before drivers accept a load. The posting estimates solo operator earnings of $280,000–$320,000 or more and team operator earnings of $400,000 or more.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- A low-mileage, well-maintained semi-truck.
- Experience as a Class A owner operator is sought.
