About The Position

D-Trans LLC is hiring full-time company drivers for OTR team positions based at its Venice, Florida terminal. Established driver pairs are preferred. Teams operate company-owned trucks on nationwide routes, generally between the Southeast and Northwest, with no Northeast states. Drivers are typically out for two weeks to 16 days, or may stay out longer by choice, with home time coordinated between team members.

Compensation is $1.00 per odometer/GPS mile, split between the team, for both loaded and empty miles. Teams typically run 4,100–4,900 or more miles per week and gross $4,000–$4,800 weekly per team, or approximately $2,000–$2,400 per driver, depending on miles and experience. Extra-stop pay, other bonuses, per-diem pay, and additional pay for driver-assist work are available. Pay is deposited directly after the round trip is completed and the team returns to the terminal. The role includes mostly no-touch freight and newer equipment. Health insurance and PTO are currently unavailable. No mandatory vaccines are required.

Requirements

• Both drivers must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Both drivers must have a current DOT physical.
• Both drivers must have at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience pulling a 53-foot dry van or refrigerated trailer.
• Must speak English.
• Must have a TWIC card or obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• No DOT-record or preventable accidents in the past 12 months.
• No major violations in the past 36 months, including reckless driving or careless endangerment.
• No more than 3 minor violations in the past 3 years, and no more than 2 violations within the same 12-month period.
• No DUI in the past 60 months.
• Must have an overall safe driving record and no positive drug or alcohol tests.
• Drivers are ineligible for vehicular homicide; alcohol- or drug-related offenses in a commercial vehicle; hit-and-run; motor vehicle theft; driving while a license is revoked; an invalid CDL; or 3 or more chargeable accidents in the past 3 years.
• Desired personal attributes include attention to detail, responsibility, dependability, a safety-minded and career-minded outlook, optimism, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Knowledge of federal and Florida DOT and hours-of-service rules.

Responsibilities
