About The Position
This is a local, dedicated grocery delivery run based in Phoenix, Arizona. Drivers will be responsible for delivering groceries to retail stores across Arizona, handling freight directly using manual pallet jacks, and performing a mix of live unloads, drop-and-hook operations, and load assistance. The role requires a high stamina and involves physical maneuvering. Drivers will be home every night and receive two consecutive days off each week. Both day and night shifts are available, and weekend driving is standard. Holiday dispatches depend on customer needs.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Active DOT Medical Card.
- Clean MVR.
- Solid work history.
- Must pass a drug screening.
- Minimum 1 full year of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Must live within 40 miles of the hubs in zip codes 85043 or 85353.
- Must be a solo driver.
Responsibilities
- Deliver groceries to retail stores across Arizona.
- Handle freight directly using manual pallet jacks.
- Perform live unloads, drop-and-hook operations, and load assistance.
- Log approximately 1,000 miles per week.
- Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer.
