About The Position

Established in 1949, Shepherd Oil Company operates more than 60 trucks throughout Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas with supply from terminals throughout the Midwest. Our Drivers are an integral part of Shepherd Oil Company. Trucks are parked at our yard in Park City. Days off are by seniority, so days off for new hire will be during the week (Tue/Wed or Wed/Thur). This is a local haul position, meaning drivers are home every night.

Requirements

Class A CDL - Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
Must be at least 23 years of age
Must be able to drive 13 and/or 18 speed trucks
No minimum driving experience required

Responsibilities

Transport fuel using a Class A CDL vehicle.
Operate late model Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks with 13 and 18 speeds.
Utilize Elogs through Samsara.
Adhere to safety protocols, including those related to cameras (forward facing, in cab, side view).
