About The Position

Coborn’s, Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to play a key role in delivering product safely and efficiently to their grocery store locations, including Cash Wise Foods, Coborn’s, and Marketplace Foods. This position is ideal for individuals who value consistent routes, strong team support, and being home regularly. We manage a variety of other retail businesses in markets where the fit is right, including Ace Hardware, Country Floral Gifts & Greenhouse, Caribou Coffee, Dunn Brothers Coffee, Erbert and Gerbert’s, Godfather’s Pizza, and Pet Supplies Plus. To support our diverse retail operations, we operate our own central bakery, fresh foods commissary, and grocery warehouse and distribution center.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six months to one year of related experience and/or training
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Holds a valid Class A driver's license and acceptable driving record per company policy
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical examiner's certificate
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Pass a safety background check
  • Ability to qualify for power equipment certification

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver product to store locations
  • Complete assigned delivery routes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure accurate handling and distribution of freight within the logistics system
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain DOT compliance
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, and store personnel
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
