About The Position

American Driver is looking for CDL A drivers based in Palatka, FL. This is a full-time W2 position. New drivers are welcome and a fully paid training program is available for those who qualify. The training program includes 4-6 weeks of paid training with an experienced mentor, real loads from the first week, coverage of ELD, logbooks, HOS, inspections, and customer interaction, with weekly pay throughout the program. Upon completion, drivers transition to solo at $0.56 CPM. The role involves dry van, no-touch loads, with approximately 60% drop and hook operations, running consistent 2,200–2,500 miles every week on Eastern OTR lanes with steady freight volume and predictable dispatch. Drivers can expect consistent home time every two weeks, planned in advance. Trucks are late-model Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025) and every unit has an APU.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, must be 21+.
• Graduates of an accredited CDL program with at least 120 hours of instruction are eligible for our paid training program.
• No serious violations in the past 3 years.
• No DUI within the last 5 years.
• Must pass a hair follicle and urine drug screening.
