About The Position

Day Shift, Local CDL A Hazmat Truck Driver in Fairview, ND. Home Every Night | Local Routes Earn $300-$600 per day or $80k-$100k annually (Pay per Load) $32/hour training pay $5,000 Retention bonus available Full-Time Schedule: 5 on 2 off or 6 on 1 off 12 hour shifts 5am to 5pm Work Location 3532 East Fairview, ND 59221

Requirements

Class A CDL
Hazardous materials and tanker endorsements preferred
1+ year of CDL Experience, preferably in an oilfield environment
A commitment to work without an occurrence; no spills, no injuries and no property damage
Can successfully pass Savage’s road test, which will include a proper pre- and post-trip inspection of the vehicle
Comfortable working in an oilfield environment, including climbing ladders and stairs to the top of tanks, and working around flammable gases and other toxic fumes
Must be willing to work days/nights/holidays
High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive pre and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspections, and take appropriate action on encountered problems
Load, unload and transport pipe, Butane, and other Y grade hazardous liquids
Sample, test, and purchase crude oil using onboard equipment at designated locations
Ensure accurate documentation, product integrity, and regulatory compliance during all operations
Utilize any on-board computer terminals to accurately record locations visited and products handled and ensure any additional paperwork is complete, neat, and legible
Report incidents (operational and/or safety-related), as instructed, in a timely manner
Contain and report any spill according to the established Occurrence Reporting procedures
Take an active role in our safety program, including attendance at all safety meetings and ensuring safe behaviors of self and subordinates
