About The Position
TA Services is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers with at least 2 years of CDL driving experience for a 1st shift position. This role involves transporting finished goods and raw materials, performing inspections and light maintenance, ensuring DOT compliance, and safely maneuvering trucks. The work environment is fast-paced with local deliveries and exposure to outdoor weather conditions, requiring physical work such as occasional lifting and climbing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving
- Must be at least 23 years old
- No DWI/DUI on MVR in the past 3 years
- No more than one at-fault accident on MVR within the past 3 years
- Must pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug screen
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to jump in where needed
- Whatever it takes" mentality
- Safety-minded and dependable
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferred
Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, along with light preventative maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policies
- Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly
