Class A CDL Driver

CK TransportationAlbuquerque, NM
Onsite

About The Position

CK Transportation places experienced CDL A drivers with carriers offering stable freight, dependable pay, and schedules that stay consistent. Drivers receive clear expectations on freight, home time, and equipment before getting started. This specific role offers steady Southwest freight lanes with dependable miles, weekly home time with a full 48-hour reset, and operates with late-model automatic tractors. Drivers who prefer a predictable routine often do well in this position because freight stays active and schedules remain organized. Loads move through established Southwest lanes and connected regional markets, allowing drivers to stay productive without constant route changes or extended downtime between trips. This fleet is built around weekly home time with a full 48-hour reset. Dispatch works to keep drivers on a regular rhythm so personal time can be planned more easily. Loads are commonly arranged ahead of time, helping drivers transition from one trip to the next without unnecessary delays. Dry van freight moves through repeat lanes across New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and surrounding connected markets. Most loads are drop-and-hook, which helps reduce time spent at customer locations and keeps wheels turning. Weekly mileage commonly reaches 2,800–3,000 depending on freight flow and routing. Drivers operate late-model International tractors generally around 2–3 years old. Trucks are maintained on a regular preventive service schedule to reduce downtime. Equipment is assigned to this fleet and set up for regional dry van operations.
