About The Position

American Driver is seeking Class A CDL drivers based in Cheraw, SC. This is a full-time W2 OTR position with a paid training program available for new drivers who qualify. The training program lasts 4-6 weeks, involving riding with an experienced mentor on real loads, covering ELD, logbooks, HOS, inspections, and customer interaction, with weekly pay throughout. Upon completion, drivers transition to solo at $0.56 CPM. The role involves dry van, no-touch loads, with approximately 60% drop and hook operations, offering consistent weekly miles of 2,200–2,500 on Eastern OTR lanes with steady freight volume and predictable dispatch. Drivers can expect consistent home time every two weeks, planned in advance. The company provides late-model Freightliner or Kenworth trucks (2022–2025) equipped with APUs.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
• No serious violations in the past 3 years.
• No DUI within the last 5 years.
• Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screening.
