About The Position

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated, home daily account based in the Gordonsville, VA area. This is a local position, and applicants must live within a commutable distance of Gordonsville, VA (Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Staunton, Richmond, and surrounding areas) and be able to commute daily. The routes run throughout VA, NC, MD, PA, and WV. This is a W2 position with a full benefits package available. J Rose Logistics provides expedited freight transportation services for shipping and delivery on critical loads throughout the continental US. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of Class A experience within the last 3 years
• Must live within driving distance of Gordonsville, VA and be able to commute daily
• Must meet all DOT drug, alcohol, and safety requirements
• Tickets, accidents, and criminal history reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Nice To Haves

• Additional shifts available upon request

Responsibilities

• Report daily to the Gordonsville location.
• Operate a slip-seat operation with newer model day cabs.
• Handle a mix of dry and refrigerated grocery freight.
• Perform no-touch freight with live unloads at store locations.
• Complete routes running throughout VA, NC, MD, PA, and WV.
• Be available for weekend work.
