Requirements

  • Must be able to drive a 10-speed manual transmission.
  • 2 years’ recent CDL Class A experience
  • Valid medical certificate and physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Must possess good dexterity in shoulders, lower back and knees.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Authorized for employment in the U.S. (sponsorships not available)
  • Ability to pass 10 panel drug tests
  • Ability to pass a thorough background screening and MVR

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with a heavy duty 10-wheel rollback winch truck with hydraulic tilt bed a plus
  • Towing experience a plus
  • Landoll trailer experience helpful
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Have a safety-oriented mind set

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate assigned commercial vehicles in compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Deliver, relocate, and retrieve mobile storage containers according to daily dispatch schedules and designated routes.
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs), and immediately report mechanical or safety concerns.
  • Secure loads and transport containers properly to ensure safety during transit.
  • Maintain open and proactive communication with Dispatch regarding route status, delays, site conditions, delivery updates, and customer issues.
  • Accurately complete required delivery documentation, including electronic records, daily logs, and photos.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery and pickup details and handle C.O.D. payments when applicable.
  • Follow all job site safety protocols and customer site requirements.
  • Support yard operations when not actively assigned to delivery or pickup routes.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as refueling, oil checks, and tire inspections to ensure efficient operation.
  • Operate commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) exceeding 26,000 lbs and towing capacity over 10,000 lbs.
